That little bit of business at the end of the year

The lead-up to Christmas is the busiest time of the year – and it's not only a matter of handling large orders for Christmas gifts, for at the beginning of January it will also be time for the industry's leading European trade fair, and shortly afterwards the completion of the new HQ.

Every year in the weeks leading up to Christmas, if things are going well, the phones throughout the promotional product industry don't stop ringing, the e-mail inboxes are full to overflowing, and things are buzzing in logistics.  Throughout the entire course of the year, creative ideas are collected, presented and brought to realisation, so that by the end of the year a whole spectrum of both traditional and innovative ideas for promotional items are ready to be placed under the Christmas tree.  Right now, pallets and packages are flying in and out of the goods incoming and outgoing areas as if they were being pulled by Rudolf himself.  Thanks to a range of warehousing options at various different locations and a large, flexible team, Cybergroup manages to cope with even complex and extensive orders almost with ease, and this alongside their regular business.

For their major customers, not only do they develop highly imaginative ideas with suggestions for branding, they even set up designated online shops which allow the branches to order their Christmas gifts directly themselves. A major part of the orders already in hand are of course completely traditional promotional and seasonal items such as Advent calendars, pastries, chocolate treats and more. But even well-known articles can be realised in a more appealing way by using special packaging or an eye-catching trick. This is precisely where creativity is called for!

The employees of some customers will be getting a pleasant surprise, for example, when they receive a printed Christmas tin containing a whole winter care package, with a mini hot water bottle, socks and cough sweets. A further amusing idea for a surprise is a bottle filled with chocolate drops and equipped with a straw – simply fill up with hot milk and your hot chocolate 2go is ready.  New customers of another Cyber partner will soon be enjoying their high-quality portable travel speakers as a special Christmas present. Other highly attractive presents include ideas such as organiser cases, aromatic water bottles, individually-shaped ice cubes or "Matching Pairs" games. Many customers, a wide range of different needs and requirements – an infinite number of ideas for different products!

In the midst of all this pre-Christmas excitement, Cybergroup is also busy getting prepared for PSI, where the company will not only be represented with their own lounge, but also with a Best Practice show area. Oh yes, and while this is all going on, the construction of the new headquarters in Mannheim is reaching its final stages. Unbelievable, all the things that are going on here at the same time, not only throughout the whole year, but especially in recent weeks. As a premature reward and to take a little time out, the individual branches of the Cybergroup are having a special treat with their own Christmas parties at their various different locations. And the really big party will follow on, after the major cornerstones of Christmas and PSI – the spectacular christening of the new premises in Mannheim!
