MoPA goes Art

Haptic advertising stirs emotions and penetrates into the everyday life of the target group. As a physical canvas, its reach now even extends into art!

The MoPA Museum of Promotional Articles has already put promotional products and their historical development in a whole new light. At the PSI trade fair, MoPA's first venue, an exciting conversation with a museum visitor opened the door to the art world for promotional products.

 

More specifically, to the Neuhouse 27 gallery in the Düsseldorf area, which offers up-and-coming artists a setting alongside big names. Art lovers and lovers of good taste will find works by renowned artists such as Lothar Guderian, Josef Albers, Claudia Rogge, Takeshi Suzuki, Holger Kurt Jäger and prints by Andy Warhol and Christo.

 

Rainer Timmen, the owner of the gallery and a true connoisseur of the free spirit scene, visited PSI in search of creative inspiration and naturally was immediately drawn to the colourful, detailed MoPA shop. After an inspiring dialogue about art and promotional items, one of the large ducks from our MoPA shop ended up in the hands of the gallery owner.

 

Artist Mirko Flör, who comes from a background of graffiti and street art, transformed the Schnabbels representative into a true work of art. The mixture of different styles creates the look that is so unique to Flör works: Bright colours, large-scale works, intense, almost brutish motifs. And that's exactly what our duck looks like today – gaudy, cool and unusual. We definitely want more of this! More products are on their way to the Neuhouse 27...
