cyber-Wear Ramps Up for DB
For customer events, Cyber-Wear doesn't just go full throttle in terms of personnel. These occasions are always great opportunities for us to showcase our strengths creatively and reliably for our clients. We cover every aspect to support and make special events truly unique! In early September, the 27th Steam Locomotive Days took place in Meiningen. Souvenir and food stands, as well as special trains, attract around 12,000 steam locomotive fans annually. Our customer team for Deutsche Bahn managed Cyber-Wear’s own stand, featuring steam locomotive merchandise from the official fan shop, bahnshop.de. Visitors could buy items, especially those with the print of the "Adler": the steam locomotive that was the first operational one used in Germany. The nostalgic design graces various products in the shop, such as mugs, breakfast boards, doormats, and textiles like rompers and shirts. Our special t-shirt for the Steam Locomotive Days was particularly popular: it sold out in several sizes on the very first day!
Visitors experienced railroad history and romance with guided tours, expert lectures, and the chance to ride steam locomotives. Children rode a narrow-gauge steam locomotive, while adults could become steam locomotive engineers. The Meiningen Steam Locomotive Works is one of the last workshops in Europe actively dedicated to preserving and restoring these locomotives. Additionally, other locomotives and work trains are maintained here when capacity shortages arise at other DB workshops.
