MoPA at the Supplier Days in Houten
The Museum of Promotional Articles tours Europe to showcase the history of promotional articles. At the EXPO Houten Supplier Days, it shows exhibits worth seeing, including historical replicas and originals from the archives of partner suppliers.The Museum of Promotional Articles is going on tour after the PSI in Düsseldorf to get even more people excited about the history of promotional items. The first stop was HAPTICA® live in Bonn, shortly after the industry's leading trade fair.
Last week, from September 4th to 5th, the tour continued at the Supplier Days at EXPO Houten, Netherlands. The experienced event and marketing team has resurrected the museum with its exciting details for the third time on 50 square meters.
Over 200 exhibitors and numerous visitors attended the well-organized networking event and took the opportunity to get to know MoPA. Even in a scaled-down version compared to the 170 square meters that were available at the museum's premiere, the MoPA offers a great insight into the development of promotional items. Exhibits worth seeing, some from the company archives of our partner suppliers, make the early days of promotional items tangible.
The heart of the exhibition is an antique-looking room that shows the very first items that were ever used for advertising purposes, such as a replica of George Washington's campaign button from 1789. Highlights for every visitor include the caps, which are true to the originals of the first caps from 1800, the film clip from the “Wizard of Oz” to the first merchandise textile or the knife collection to the archive of the RICHARTZ family business.
The entire museum was created through cyber-Wear and the research work of our six-person marketing team. We look forward to presenting the relevance and complexity of the promotional item at every subsequent MoPA stop – next time in Paris!
