After a company history stretching back 100 years, it's all change: Viessmann celebrates its anniversary 100 years of Viessmann

At the 100th anniversary celebration, it was cyber-Wear that rang in the future in the merchandising field

With a big festival at three sites, cyber-Wear customer Viessmann, one of the world's leading producers of heating, industrial and cooling systems, celebrated its 100th anniversary. At the end of August, a total of 15,000 staff and their families experienced an unforgettable day at the company's headquarters in Allendorf (Eder) and in Berlin and Hof. The highlight was without doubt the "centennial moment": The sites were linked together in a live transmission, and those present at the celebrations joined forces in a huge choir to sing a song composed specially for the jubilee.
"100+ and all set for a new century" was the company slogan in the centennial year. This gives expression to the fact that Viessmann is making a new start: looking to the future and rising to the challenges it will bring. What the "+" means is this: The successes of the past are spurring the company on to future greatness; the enthusiastic embrace of everything new is part of the corporate DNA.

And enthusiasm was omnipresent on the day of the celebrations: At the headquarters in Allendorf alone, some 11,000 Viessmann staff took part in a festival of superlatives, whose parameters included 10,000 balloons, 17 shows in three arenas, a 300 sq. m main stage, 20,000 bread rolls, 20,500 grilled sausages, 18 catering stations and 800 kg of sweets. Alongside tours of the works and a 9-hour show programme, a stand featuring the official merchandise colllection, Viessmann Selection, was of course also one of the attractions. 

cyber-Wear, which had previously been engaged by Viessmann in an advisory capacity, took responsibility for the sale of the existing merchandising articles in a specially erected shop tent staffed by its own event team employees. In the process a new direction was also set and fresh impetus for change delivered - in the area of promotional material and merchandising, naturally: In the future, cyber-Wear is also going to produce articles for the Viessmann Selection and is set to open a new web shop for that purpose. Production of the articles will start before the year is out, initially for the existing shop. The new cyber-Wear e-commerce platform, one of the aims of which is to sell the popular winter sport sponsorship items, is scheduled for launch in April 2018 and will as usual be open to the public. The development of elaborate and unusual limited-edition items is already in full swing. For instance, robust and eye-catching shoulder and laptop bags are currently being designed from old Viessmann advertising banners, meaning that they will be sustainable - and, of course, limited editions!
