When the temperatures are tropical the Marketing team moves its work outdoors
In our YouTube "Meet the team" videos Cybergroup provides an insight into the everyday work of our colleagues. With tropical temperatures of 33°C and high humidity levels it's often more pleasant to work outdoors in the open air. In our latest video this is where we meet Marketing Manager Sarah Bo Jacob. In the previous video in the "Meet our team" series we presented our first colleague from abroad, but this time we're going out of doors. On the principle of "Just another day in the office" the Marketing team in Wipperfürth recently took advantage of the tropical temperatures to take their work out of doors and have a barbecue. But of course not without a specific job to do! Part of this was testing one of our latest products, a grill thermometer with a Bluetooth connection – the video will be available on the company YouTube channel within the next few days.
At the same time, however, we took the opportunity of presenting our next colleague. For Sarah Bo Jacob, Marketing Manager with Cybergroup, it was a home game and accordingly almost home office – although in this case the work would have been so enjoyable that it would hardly have qualified as work.
Since October 2017 the 33-year-old has been part of the team in Wipperfürth, where she also lives with her partner and young daughter. Sarah Bo Jacob originally studied textile technology and management, an industry in which she started her career. After that she spent a long time as a product manager in the leather goods business, where she was responsible for trade fair participations in addition to purchasing in Asia. During her subsequent parental leave she worked on a self-employed basis in the field of marketing and social media, activities which brought her through a range of different industries to Cybergroup.
The Marketing department in Wipperfürth, which now consists of Sarah Jacob and her colleague Melina Lukasseck, was only created last year. In addition to maintaining the company's social media channels, the two of them are also responsible for a wide range of activities. For example ideas are developed, planned, designed, photographed, filmed, provided with text… In this field Cybergroup has always been highly creative and innovative, and in the shape of this new department even further resources have now been established for these ideas. Our relatively new colleague is above all enthusiastic about the scope she has for contributing her own ideas. At the same time she appreciates all the great colleagues she works with – for every project there's always the right contact person who is ready to contribute and help develop her new ideas to perfection.
