Sweet, sweeter, Kalfany Süße Werbung

In conversation with Jeanette Baiker and Stefan Eiche we learn everything about production, printing and filling, because this means that producer of promotional sweets Kalfany Süße Werbung does the work of three companies in one. What happens at the company and what else is new? Check it out for yourself!

In our most recent talk Jeanette Baiker, Sales Manager South, and Stefan Eiche, Marketing and Sales Manager, reported on the many different production steps at Kalfany Süße Werbung and of course on their new products and sustainable highlights.

The best thing first: we not only shot the informative CG Live Talk there but also behind-the-scenes footage of the production process.  After all, we wanted to find out how fruit gums are actually made. How does the aroma get into the fruit gum and how do they get their shape? All these questions were answered in the large-scale production facility of Kalfany Süße Werbung at its Herbolzheim site. During a tour of the factory we show every single stage of production. And we can reveal one thing in advance: it's really amazing how many machines, production steps and manual activities go into producing fruit gums and the huge quantities that Kalfany Süße Werbung handles. We were seriously impressed!

As we all know, the Christmas business is already well under way, one more reason why the production facility was so busy.  However, it's not too late yet, because Jeanette Baiker and Stefan Eiche have some cool new products which you should definitely take a closer look at. For the Milka and Lindt Father Christmas Kalfany Süße Werbung is now offering an alternative cardboard box, namely an FSC®-certified promotional gift box with a window. The Milka Father Christmas itself is also new. A Father Christmas which can be customised to suit individual requirements is Stefan Eiche's absolute favourite. Kalfany Süße Werbung is a specialist in this respect, because the aluminium foil, which is only 15µ thick, has to be printed free of any creases and cracks in order to wrap Santa in an attractive way. So how about a construction worker, a train conductor or a racing driver? By the way, the chocolate is made of 30% Fairtrade cocoa.

A world first is the 100% recyclable Advent calendar, which does completely without plastic. The Advent calendar in portrait or landscape format is made of FSC®-certified cardboard, with a stable inlay made of 100% organic raw materials. It's also a great idea that for every Advent calendar purchased 1 cent is automatically donated to World Vision projects against the Covid-19 pandemic. The chocolate is also 30% Fairtrade.

Also new in the Advent calendar range is the Eco premium Advent gift calendar. This is filled with branded products such as Rittersport, Ferrero Kisses, Celebrations and merci Petits. Particular favourites at Kalfany Süße Werbung are the delicious Baileys chocolates and Lindt Lindor chocolate balls. A new feature of this calendar is the thermoformed cardboard section, which was previously made of plastic. As a result the calendar manages completely without plastic, except of course for the chocolates, which have to be packed individually for reasons of hygiene and taste.

If you want to design your own individual Advent calendar, the minimum quantity is only 250 pieces. Production time is only 15 working days from approval. The special thing about Kalfany Süße Werbung is its customer-oriented approach. This means that all products, i.e. chocolate, fruit gums and sweets, are freshly produced and are only two or three weeks old when they reach the customer. This is of course ideal in terms of taste.
