Storojet – NEXT LEVEL STORAGE

The automated storage and picking system STOROJET moved in with us in early 2023. Along with AutoStore, it’s the next big milestone.

STOROJET: The extremely flexible and modular shelving system, which connects several levels via elevators, enables the compact autonomous robots to transport goods carriers to so-called picking stations in an energy-efficient manner. 

 

In January this year, STOROJET went into test operation at our company. 4 weeks later it already started live operations and since March 2023, the warehouse and order picking system has now been in full operation. Once again, a cyber-Wear setup at its best – fast, precise and efficient! 

 

Since then, the system has been in full operation and already enables around 250-500 so-called inbound deliveries per day. An inbound delivery is the delivery of a goods carrier to the picking stations, where the employees then only have to take out the goods according to the order. The big advantage of Storojet, in contrast to AutoStore, is the flexible storage volume. Thanks to the open concept, entire packaging units can be stored in Storojet and also reshipped in their entirety during the consignment process. This saves unnecessary cardboard waste and makes shipping even more efficient and environmentally friendly.
