"So that you can keep smiling!"

For Deutsche Bahn AG we are producing paper bags in which face masks can be stowed safely and hygienically while you enjoy a tasty snack.

Deutsche Bahn AG is doing everything to ensure that we can all travel safely. This includes, for example, the contactless checking of tickets, additional disinfectant dispensers and the automatic opening of all doors.

All employees wear mouth and nose coverings on the trains and passengers have to comply with the obligation to keep their mouth and nose covered for the protection of everyone. Deutsche Bahn distributes paper bags for the storage of face masks. "So that you can keep smiling" is written on the paper bag in large letters, and that's exactly what it is intended for. If you feel hungry or thirsty during the train journey, you can safely store your mask in these practical and environmentally friendly paper bags. The mask should be put back on immediately afterwards. Deutsche Bahn thanks passengers for this on the front of the bag, while on the back there is a checklist of what to do with the mask and paper bag if they feel hungry or thirsty.

The paper bag can be disposed of properly after use or, which makes much more sense, it can continue to be used as a place to store the mask, thus making sure that no bacteria or viruses can contaminate it. Of course this requires the appropriate hygiene measures such as careful hand washing, disinfection and careful handling of the mask.

A nice and very practical gesture from Deutsche Bahn.
