"Practical items for use that are guaranteed not to land in the sea!"
Last Wednesday Promowolsch was a guest at the CG Lounge Talk. Promowolsch specialises in plastic injection moulding products "Made in Germany" and presented many practical gadgets. When Wolfgang Schmidt, owner of Promowolsch, was a guest at the CG Lounge Talk last Wednesday, he took the opportunity to congratulate Steven Baumgärtner on his company's 25th anniversary, presenting him with a large bouquet of fly swatters of all kinds and shapes. These fly swatters at the same time represented the beginning of Promowolsch, because Wolfgang Schmidt started his business with fly swatters of all shapes, colours and sizes.
For all those who don't know Promowolsch yet: the name stands for "Promotion Wolfgang Schmidt" and has been on the market for 22 years now. Promowolsch is well-known for its high-tech injection moulding articles "Made in Germany".
The 2K ice scraper is an absolute hit and has often featured in cyber-Wear productions. "For me it is the ultimate ice scraper", says Steven Baumgärtner. Due to its sturdy handle which offers the perfect grip and the concave shape of the surface, it is ideal for removing ice from car windscreens. The concave shape has been adapted to the shape of the windscreen and as a result there is no chance of scratches. By injecting two colours simultaneously during the manufacturing process, the product can be produced individually according to customer requirements. This is where the "2K" in the product name comes from.
The company's 20-year cooperation with the Lebenshilfe Pfalz charity is in a very good cause, enabling people with disabilities to manufacture high-quality products. These products are handmade, hard-wearing and sustainable and the work gives the people involved a rewarding occupation. With the takeover of a plastics processor from Lebenshilfe, the foundations for the cooperation were laid and they now produce ice scrapers for Promowolsch using their own tools.
The "Alpenrambo" ice scraper is perfectly suited for thick ice on windscreens at high altitudes. What is already almost indispensable in the Alpine region is now also to make a name for itself in Germany. The brass blade allows thick layers of ice and snow to be removed quickly and easily. No need to worry about scratches, because brass is even softer than plastic.
A new product highlighted in the CG Lounge Talk is the "Titan" ice scraper. The "Titan" is an ice scraper with an ice shaver. The arrangement and angles of the blades were researched and determined by a scientific institute in order to achieve optimum removal of the ice. This scraper is also produced in cooperation with Lebenshilfe and thus rounds off the range of ice scrapers on offer.
Promowolsch has had the exclusive distribution rights for its ice scrapers for 20 years. Imitation products made by some well-known infringers are regularly subjected to a legal injunction and removed from the market!
