New Year, new building, new location
The waiting has come to an end. The building in Mannheim, Germany is finally completed and the employees have happily moved into their new offices. The staff has been waiting to move into the new building at the new location in Mannheim, Germany with quite some excitement. They could hardly wait to pack their things when the time for the move was announced. The Server and IT were the first to move successively to Mannheim, in order to implement the software and all the technology. Shortly after that the remaining units followed suit.
The planning, organisation and the implementation around the move can be described as a logistical masterpiece. It took a long time to work on all the details of this organisation to ensure a quick and smooth operation. There is a truck commuting between Mannheim and Heidelberg to make sure that all items of the team are taken safely to the new offices.
With the new building there is a lot of space especially for the warehouse and there particularly for manoeuvring. The offices are really spacious and the design and graphics department will be exceedingly spacious and will move into a highly modern Design-Lab with around 250 sqm. The enormous space of 1.564 sqm alone for the offices seems unimaginably big but it really is true. The employees have a big and new roomy work space to ensure an efficient desk organisation. This shows how much cyber-Wear has grown and how urgent it was to have this new building. Next to the offices there has emerged a new warehouse with modern high-rack storage on an enormous area of 3.950 sqm – here the height of the ceiling is used to ensure cost efficient storage.
