Hello 2019!
Last year the course was set - now all roads lead to Mannheim: to the new headquarters of Cybergroup! 2018 was once again a record year for cyber-Wear, with the strongest growth since 2011.And this in a market environment that continues to be difficult and competitive, in which many competitors as well as suppliers are losing both customers and sales. Cybergroup was able to buck this trend by increasing sales internationally and inspiring exciting new customers.
Prestigious customers, above all from the energy supply, travel and automotive industries, now enrich the Cybergroup portfolio, leading to further growth and opportunities. With its international brands Cybergroup is also expanding into the Chinese and North American markets.
In 2018 the company's storage capacities were divided among three locations, a logistical masterstroke. At the same time the company is driving forward the technical development of its processes. More and more scanners and automated processes are being used, and the entire IT infrastructure will be virtualised in the course of the year. Advanced technical solutions create more time for internal sales and customer service to concentrate on the essentials.
Cybergroup sees potential for continuous further development in its processes and departments in all successfully completed and initiated projects. Our staff and their team spirit play a major role here. This summer the BeachCup will once again be an important event. With the cyber Lounge the PSI trade show also offers a unique opportunity for professional interaction with customers and partners.
The international positioning of Cybergroup remains an outstanding unique selling point and is often the decisive criterion in customer acquisition. Cooperation among all group companies makes Cybergroup one of the most efficient partners worldwide. Cybergroup UK is continuing to grow and has recently acquired significant new customers. In Dubai a new partner has been won for the Arab world. cyber-Wear Shanghai Ltd. and the Chinese market are still a challenge, but here too the team was able in 2018 to lay the promising groundwork for big advances in 2019. Only recently Cybergroup was able to report on successful tenders with great potential, thanks to positive customer relationships based on trust built up over the years.
All these are only a few examples of numerous, successfully implemented projects. The team will continue to pull together in the coming year and concentrate all of their energies in the new premises in Mannheim on the well-being of our customers. In the new year, too, the cyber team will continue to tackle its tasks with innovation, commitment and flexibility.
