Fare on PSI TV Live Talk

The company Fare went on to present its latest umbrella innovations at the PSI TV Live Talk. On the first day of the trade fair, Managing Director Volker Griesel took positive stock of the company’s successful start, and emphasized the positive mood at the trade fair. The talks were not only used to present innovative products, but also emphasize the focus on resource-saving materials and environmentally-friendly production processes.

Fare used the PSI TV Live Talk to present its new umbrella products. On the afternoon of the trade fair’s first day, Managing Director Volker Griesel was able to sum up the successful start. Everyone in the PSI TV studio agreed on the very good atmosphere at the trade fair.

The talks are used to highlight suppliers’ innovations, in particular, and to address current developments. Volker Griesel presented the latest special features using samples. Fare umbrellas stand for the highest quality standards, reliable suitability for everyday use and sophisticated technology – such as the windproof function. The company attaches just as much importance to resource-saving materials such as its waterSAVE® and environmentally-friendly production processes, which were used for the majority of the new products presented.

New products such as the Ring Opener, the “Ecobrella” or particularly inexpensive basic models, mostly available as a product family as a stick or pocket umbrella, will be on show. All umbrellas can be customized with a wide range of colors and doming. Many of the models have been added to the range at the customer’s request. Despite current price increases, a limit of less than 10 euros per umbrella can still be offered. In addition to the promotional products sector, Fare offers a wide range of products for end customers. A bestseller in this market is an ingenious set in camouflage design that can be used as an umbrella and parasol.

Small quantities, successful models, unusual details, brilliant prints, compressed delivery times, flexible freight routes – Fare enables tailored solutions to meet customer demands that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago. A completely revised price list now also makes it particularly easy for customers to distinguish and understand the various finishing options. All very helpful when considering the impressive selection of up to 1000 SKUs in the Fare warehouse.

As far as the MoPA Museum of Promotional Articles is concerned, the history of the umbrella is incredibly diverse, but it is much harder to say when it was first used as a promotional item. As an exciting exhibit with a meaningful background, Fare created an umbrella using digital print that incorporated the demands of the suffragettes – the feminist movement.

In addition to external crises, Volker Griesel sees the scarce availability of containers, which Fare is countering with high stock availability, and the resource- and environmentally-friendly material and production innovations presented as particularly challenging topics for 2024. Long-lasting quality products – such as Fare’s umbrellas – speak for the optimal implementation of sustainability in the promotional products industry, something both partners agree on and are optimistic about for the coming year and the anniversary year of Fare 2025.
