Fantastic weather and breathtaking curves at the Family Race Day on the Hockenheimring

Courtesy of the Pistenclub Cybergroup offered staff and their families a special day directly on the Ring, including a drive in the Mustang GT Camo with CFO Roman Weiss as the driver.

The Pistenclub organisation provides drivers with the opportunity to test their skills on the most beautiful routes in Europe. Whether beginner or advanced driver, in a sporty everyday car, sports car or racing car - this offers driving freedom for everyone. On Saturday 8 June one of the events organised by the Pistenclub took place on the Hockenheimring.

Cybergroup was quick to rent a box at this event and offered rides with its own Ford Mustang GT featuring the unique Camo foil. This powerful car now has an incredible 680 bhp under its bonnet. Originally Cybergroup bought the sensational show car for the Ford Camo line it developed as part of the official Ford Lifestyle Collection. In cooperation with Ford of Europe both the Mustang GT and a Ford Fiesta were exclusively foil-wrapped for the Camo project of the Ford Lifestyle Collection. In only six weeks a special line based on the striking Camo styling was developed, with all articles featuring details of this design.

The cyber-team as well as family and friends were invited to the Family Race Day. Fifteen of them even had the special opportunity to experience the powerful Mustang GT Camo on the circuit as co-drivers. The driver was Cybergroup CFO Roman Weiss. This fast-car enthusiast has been driving on racing circuits for eight years now and has acquired a licence from the German Motor Sports Association (DMSB) to participate in official motor racing events. It was an exciting special day for the participants, co-drivers and the driver Roman Weiss himself. "I enjoyed introducing my colleagues to racing cars and showing them that these are far removed from 'ordinary' cars, especially in terms of handling and braking performance. The experience is both completely different and much more intense, even on the motorway" Roman Weiss explained between one of the many laps he drove on the Hockenheimring in perfect weather conditions.
