Done it again: TÜV Audit = check!

Last week we once more underwent the annual audit by TÜV Süd. It was all about the fourth repeat audit of ISO 9001:2015 and the second ISO 14001:2015 monitoring audit.

All the relevant aspects of the standards were examined in the areas of sales and development, as well as in procurement and management. After more than 10 years of auditing it is crucial for management systems not to stagnate and become outdated, but to evolve with the company.

The focus was on the implementation of the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.  Particularly in view of the climate protection legislation, which is currently playing a major role in the media, the extent to which cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH has defined its environmental goals for the long term, too, was examined.

To what extent are our procurement and development processes designed with this already in mind?  Of course the audits not only looked at our stakeholders, but also at the entire supply chain. The focus on the individual product in terms of sustainability was also intensified.

During this audit we were able to demonstrate clearly how we had adapted our individual processes even in times of the pandemic, and how we had adjusted to the situation of the individual parties involved.

Potential for improvement was identified, but above all many positive aspects were highlighted that distinguish us as a company after all these years of applying the relevant standards.
It was repeatedly noted positively how strongly the management regards itself as involved here, which can't always be taken for granted. For us, this is fundamental principle and not just a requirement of the standards.

The cooperation with TÜV Süd was very constructive, as it is every year.

We always draw new ideas from the audit, find out where we can be even more trend-setting in our activities, and how our potential for continuous improvement can be fully exploited.
