Cybergroup's own customer lounge was a huge success at the PSI

At the start of the year, Cybergroup was represented at the PSI for the first time with its own customer lounge.

At the start of the year, Cybergroup was represented at the PSI, one of the most important trade fairs in the promotional product industry, for the first time with its own customer lounge. In cooperation with a partner supplier, the company set up a stylish, 25 square-meter lounge, which was also a relaxing, safe haven from the hustle and bustle of the trade fair. In the lounge, it was then possible to talk and plan in a quiet atmosphere, while enjoying delicious catering, and it was also a good starting point for customers to discover the new innovations at the trade fair.

In preparation for the trade fair, the teams from Heidelberg and Wipperfürth as well as the representatives from the UK, US and China met for the first international sales meeting, to strengthen global skills and promote international cooperation within the team. During the meeting, there was plenty of time over the two days for personal exchanges and professional training thanks to the workshops about company-relevant topics.

The well-being of the guests was also ensured at the trade fair in every respect. Cybergroup helped visitors not just by providing tips in advance about popular hotels and restaurants, but also ensured their visit to the trade fair went smoothly and was customer-focused. For example, customers were greeted by a variety of goodies and information about the trade fair in their hotel room, including a special cyber newspaper. A company-own shuttle service was available to get to the trade fair, and a variety of food was on offer in the lounge. In addition, samples of the innovations of partner suppliers were also available in the lounge, to provide customers with a clear overview when talking to their Key Account Manager. Cybergroup was represented by a full team, thereby ensuring that every customer could be properly looked after.

One of the highlights of their trade fair appearance was certainly the social media work of the company. In addition to the continuous and direct reporting about the day's event on all social media channels, Cybergroup also held video interviews with selected partner suppliers. They were shown on a screen in the cyber-lounge on all three days of the trade fair, as well as directly on the YouTube channel, the company's own trade fair website and were also shared diligently on Facebook and via the internet directly with colleagues who had remained in the office. These videos provided extensive information about the latest innovations and revisited them repeatedly due to the wide distribution. Suppliers and customers were equally impressed and praised this cooperation.

The excitement continued on well into the evening: On Tuesday and Wednesday, Cybergroup surprised everyone with a very special customer event. At an evening event held in English and German, customers and employees were able to cook together in Canonicus, a cool event location with an industrial look. The events were led by Ingo Köthschneider, a former Michelin-star chef, who now performs his art up close to visitors in live cooking shows. Anyone could join in - or simply relax and enjoy the evening with a nice glass of wine. And the results were there to be tasted!

After all of these highlights, the feedback from customersand suppliers was more than positive. The CEO Steven Baumgärtner was also satisfied and has already come up with new ideas to improve things for the next trade fair appearance.
