cyber-Wear on behalf of Ford at the Mustang & Shelby Meeting in Switzerland
There was plenty for the fans and visitors to admire: for example a 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible, a 1968 Shelby GT350, a Ford Mustang GT, a Ford Mustang Bullitt and matching articles from the Ford Mustang CollectionWhen the engines of old and new Mustangs roar in a range of pitches, when the entrance to the event is jammed with Mustangs of all ages, this can only mean it's once more time for the Mustang & Shelby meeting, and of course the cyber-Wear event team was there with the official merchandise collection.
On Saturday 3 August Mustang enthusiasts from all over Europe met at the Zugersee in Switzerland. Around 700 Mustang drivers got together on the large event area and talked about their cars in warm summer weather. Almost all Mustang variants and versions across all series were represented. For example, fans and enthusiasts were able to admire the bright red 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible from the Swiss film "Handyman", a 1968 Shelby GT350 in the popular Acapulco blue, the Mach 1 sports car and the Ford Mustang Bullitt, the special model from the latest generation.
The event team travelled to the Swiss city of Zug with the cool Airstream the day before. This eye-catching converted caravan from the year 1964 provides a unique and exclusive exhibition area of around 15 square metres, offering a perfect showcase for many articles from the Ford Mustang Collection. Key rings, smartphone cases, cups and caps were on show in the large built-in glass cabinet, while all the clothing that the official Ford merchandising collection has to offer hung on the clothes rail. The event team focused on details and positioned lanyards, caps and bags in the entrance area. At the counter customers were able to try out caps and sunglasses on the spot, and see the miniature Lego 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback up close. The striking XL umbrella with a large printed red Mustang and the three different Ford Mustang bath towels were real eye-catchers and customer magnets in front of the Airstream.
Apart from the amazing Mustangs there was an entertaining programme all day long. When there was no live music from the special guests Jonny Trouble or Volxrox, there was dancing by the Eurodancers, the most successful Swiss show and cheer dance group, and the line dance group Burning Eagles.
