Art and cultures worldwide

In our fifth magazine we devote ourselves entirely to the cultures of this world and to art, as well as to the influence culture has on art and art on cultures. We asked ourselves the question of what actually develops from what? Is it culture that drives art, or is it perhaps art that influences cultures?

Originally it was our intention to start the year with a spectacular launch into another universe, namely our own. To start the new year and the world of new products with a galactic mission. But as so often in the past weeks and months, everything turned out differently than planned and we had to postpone and change our plans. And so, instead of escaping to distant galaxies we dedicated ourselves to a theme which is very much of this earth. To art, artists and culture. 

 

This is because we are often asked where we get our inspiration for new ideas, campaigns and articles. And basically it's quite simple. It's pure curiosity about what is new, to go through the world with open eyes and ears and to experience things for ourselves. And to do this with all our senses. To see, smell, taste and feel stuff. We are always guided here by our senses, by our basic perception of things. And this is also the case in this magazine. It's our fifth issue in a row, initially created out of pure curiosity for everything that's new and then consistently developed further. Always a little different, but always following the same idea. Just like art and cultures. They emerge from nothing, they remain, they change and in the end they are still very special and have a high recognition value. 

 

In our fifth issue we devote ourselves entirely to the cultures of this world and to art, as well as to the influence culture has on art and art on cultures. We asked ourselves the question of what actually develops from what? Is it culture that drives art, or is it perhaps art that influences cultures? An exciting and at the same time very profound question that simply didn't give us a moment's peace. We often draw our ideas from these two areas. It may be the culinary tradition which embodies a culture, or it may be a work of art which tempts us to create new products or is even a product in itself. Both areas are full of inspiration and represent a huge treasure trove of ideas. The stories and the developments of both subject areas, the way artists create their works, the way a culture is lived, are also always a source of ideas and inspiration for us. Our 2020 excursion to Paris and the world of the Art Club Experience showed how close our generic business field is to art, how close attention to detail often turns our products into small works of art in themselves and, last but not least, how easily art can also connect cultures. Without many words, without major effort, simply the artistic object itself. And the same applies to our products. Good promotional products or merchandise don't need much, they don't need much explanation, not much hoopla - they simply speak for themselves. 

 

Let's see where art will take us this year and what great articles it will bring us - we're looking forward to it. In this issue we have put together a few initial inspirations and our personal highlights. Enjoy your browse.

 

And one last thing - our galactic mission has only been postponed and is by no means cancelled. In April 2022 we will schedule another launch attempt. Let's see if the weather, or rather the pandemic, allows us to embark on the journey and then we will be able to say - Welcome to our Universe.
