Policy statement

As a company with international commercial relationships, cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH has a special responsibility to work towards improving global human rights along our supply chains and to shape business relationships in a socially responsible way in view of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The increasing integration of cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH into global procurement and sales markets entails both opportunities and challenges – new markets and production sites are opened, creating jobs and prosperity. However, there are also risks that stem from a lack of transparency and the often inadequate enforcement of internationally recognised human rights along supply chains. cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH is committed to respecting, protecting and adhering to individual human rights. We accept this responsibility as a company, regardless of the ability or willingness of countries to fulfil their duty to protect human rights. That’s why cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH is setting up risk management to be able to identify and analyse human rights violations in the supply chain in a timely manner. This is then used as a basis to take measures to ensure that human rights are adhered to within the supply chain.

cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH’s own corporate and social responsibility includes the understanding that it should pay fair wages, work towards appropriate local working conditions and prevent the exploitation of children. Equal rights for men and women are a matter of course for cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH and we do not discriminate against anyone because of their gender, lineage, race, language, homeland, origin, faith, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, political views or because of a disability. We reject corruption, forced labour and human trafficking.

cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH stands by these guidelines and trains its employees to live these values in the company. This starts with deliberately recognising violations of these principles, which are then addressed and handled through set processes, resulting in setting up suitable measures for the company. This also applies to claims made by third parties.
