Welcome to Miami
Or rather, welcome back to our magazine. Time’s running out, the days are flying by. Summer will soon (sadly) come to an end – the cold, short days are lurking just around the corner. Time and reason enough for a quick review of this summer and to look ahead to what’s in store for us. Traditionally, both the end of the year and the Christmas period have been marked by new ranges. We’ve screened the market, done our research and analysed scrupulously. And now we want to highlight all this in ourBut let’s look back first. July and August this year were all about Miami Beach for us. With our brand new Capsule Collection within the Ford Lifestyle Collection, we deliberately and courageously set out on new paths. with a small but perfectly formed summer collection with hip, fresh colours and cool motifs. All this in combination with a cool printing technique – UV changing screen printing. With this you get a print that looks boring and dull under normal conditions – but when exposed to sun and UV, it reveals its full colour splendour within seconds. We built a whole collection around this technique and launched it at the beginning of July – with a very elaborate marketing concept, including two extensive shoots. But that’s not all. We were also able to get loads of great projects up and running in the last few months – more about this on the following pages.
Now let’s look ahead. You know what? This year, as usual, Christmas is on 25 December – we promise! So that we would be able to relax and chill out at what’s perhaps the cosiest time of the year, we got busy early on, filtering and compiling all the exciting trends for the winter season. Take a look and be inspired – you won’t regret it. You’ll find a little bit of everything from classic chocolate and Christmas decorations to entire concepts. From the far north of Finland to the deep south, we’ve travelled far and wide – with ample ideas as our reward. Happy Christmas and ho-ho-ho.
Leaving all the seasonal chilling aside, however, we also deal with the serious issues of the day. One issue of fundamental importance for us is sustainability. And when we talk about sustainability, we don’t just mean sustainable products – we keep the big picture in mind. Sustainability as a whole. But where does sustainability begin and end for us? This is a fundamental question that we ask ourselves and our partners time and again – though we always find there’s no single answer. Everyone has their own view of sustainability, which makes it all the more important to keep going and carry on developing. With rigour and thoroughness, cyber-Wear thinks ahead on all levels. We’re part of the PSI Sustainability Awards, we initiated the Innovator of the Year and we’re now also Brand Ambassador of bluesign®, working together in the context of this partnership to develop the market for advertising materials and merchandising. Exciting projects, products and concepts are lined up again for 2023 in the context of the Innovator of the Year award, which we will be jointly presenting at the Big Gala in January 2023.
