Upcycling

Upcycling is a special form of recycling in which seemingly useless waste products are transformed into new materials. This is what happened to Deutsche Bahn's old workwear. It would have been a shame to simply throw all the uniforms in the rubbish after the new ones were introduced.  Some of the clothes were even still in mint condition. An idea for the useful and sustainable recycling of the unworn garments was needed. No sooner said than done! As always, no problem for cyber-Wear.

As a tribute to the former company clothing, three unique articles were developed for every railway fan to buy from the railway shop. Probably the cutest item with the most fascinating story is the conductor bear, dressed in a mini-uniform made from old company workwear. Made from 100% RPET bottles and dressed in a uniform made from old railway uniforms, it's the ultimate example of sustainability through and through.

All three products are guaranteed to make a strong impression. It is simply wonderful to see how old becomes new, and how a significant contribution can be made to environmental protection and sustainability.
