Strong growth and new commercial Director
cyber-Wear and Haspa BGM – A year of strategic decisions and personnel reinforcements for sustainable growthA year ago, in November 2023, cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH, together with Haspa Beteiligungsgesellschaft für den Mittelstand mbH (Haspa BGM), set the course for further and sustainable growth. After 12 months it is already clear that the first year was characterized by significant strategic developments - essential steps to position the company for the long term and future.
“The past year was heavily influenced by realignments that we initiated together with Haspa BGM,” explains Roman Weiss, CFO of cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH. “These changes were crucial in order to sustainably continue our growth path and set the course for the future. And further structural adjustments and personnel expansions will follow in order to fully achieve our growth goals.”
Maximilian Schilling, Managing Director of Haspa BGM, sees it the same way: “Our first year together has shown that we are on the right track, but the strategic direction requires ongoing development, both in organizational terms and in terms of positioning on the market. This alignment will further strengthen the foundation for long-term growth.”
A decisive step in this direction was the appointment of Christoph Luthe, who was promoted from within the company to Sales Director. “With Christoph we have an experienced employee who will optimally lead our sales team with his knowledge and leadership skills,” says Steven Baumgaertner, CEO of cyber-Wear.
In addition, Daniel Faller, an experienced commercial manager, has been recruited to the team starting October 15, 2024. Daniel takes on responsibility for controlling, accounting, reporting and administration, thereby relieving Roman Weiss, who will be able to concentrate more on strategic tasks and the further development of logistics in the future. “After a careful selection process in collaboration with Haspa BGM, we are convinced that Daniel Faller, with his extensive experience, will make a significant contribution to the further development of our company,” says Roman Weiss.
Daniel Faller has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial sector, most recently as CFO of a medium-sized industrial company and previously as project manager at PwC. “My focus as commercial manager is on developing the finance and IT departments so that the corporate strategy can be successfully implemented and thus value creation and customer satisfaction are maximized. I’m looking forward to the new challenge at cyber-Wear and to actively shaping the growth strategy,” says Daniel Faller.
Steven Baumgaertner adds: “With this important personnel addition and other upcoming development measures, we are consistently pursuing our growth strategy, which we launched together with BGM last year.”
With these decisions, cyber-Wear is very well positioned to overcome the coming challenges and to further position the company nationally and internationally. The focus remains clear: the continuous implementation of the growth strategy, strengthening the team and optimizing internal structures, true to the motto “Let’s make it happen, shock everyone” are the focus.
