Meet our team: Clair Hermesch, General Manager CGUS

Cybergroup is proud of its international orientation. It is precisely this aspect that makes the company so powerful and creative. In the latest "Meet our team" video we present our US General Manager Clair Hermesch.

Clair Hermesch joined the group in October 2017 as General Manager Cybergroup USA. At our location in Indianapolis, Indiana, she is responsible for promoting sales on the US market and serving new US customers such as Aston Martin US, Festool USA and Trumpf USA. Clair previously worked for Corporate Imaging Concepts, a distributor of promotional products in the USA, and is contributing her knowledge of the promotional goods industry to the further develop of our CGUS business.

Since then our American colleague has already persuaded other exciting customers of the benefits of working with Cybergroup, not just through the wide range of services the group offers, but also with her untiring commitment. Clair adds with a smile that she doesn't yet speak German, although she has German roots.

Clair Hermesch has been working for Cybergroup for almost a year now, a year full of challenges but also of great successes. Among others, she works together with her colleague Eric Yaggi, who serves CGUS customers in Chicago, Illinois. In addition, she can always count on the full support of her colleagues at the German locations in Heidelberg and Wipperfürth, who support her as contact partners and as the graphics department

Previously our young colleague worked for a competitor, so she is very familiar with the industry and is now contributing her in-depth know-how to the expansion of the group's US business. Cybergroup USA has already been operating on the US market for seven years, but the initial period in the new setup with Clair as General Manager was particularly challenging.

Flexibility is often what is needed above all: as always in the promotional goods industry and in customer support, no two days are the same.  It is often necessary to be able to react spontaneously to individual requests, urgent appointments and special requirements - even when your appointments book is full. Based on her successes to date, Clair Hermesch is optimistic about the further development and success of Cybergroup on the US market. It is not only the variety and challenges, but also the international positioning of the company that make the job interesting and represent a special opportunity for our still quite new colleague.
