Innovation & Sustainability – Two sides of the same coin

Together with Volksbank Kurpfalz, we are delighted to receive the “Sustainability Designer 2024” award from DZ BANK AG in the Innovation category. This award honors our shared commitment to innovative sustainability solutions, and we proudly accepted it last week!

Yesterday, the award was officially presented to our CFO, Roman Weiss, by Peter Kahlig, Department Director and Corporate Customer & Special Financing Advisor, and Martin Stoll, Head of Corporate Customers at Volksbank Kurpfalz. This award recognizes our implementation of a state-of-the-art, AI-powered Autostore robotic system that manages over 18,000 storage bins in a resource-efficient way. In addition, a custom packaging machine optimally tailors the packaging – resulting in less waste, lower costs, and significant CO₂ savings!
