Cybergroup welcome their new trainees

To mark the beginning of the apprenticeship year, the Cybergroup team has now gained further new members and is pleased to welcome Johannes Wolf and Kevin Olbert to the team. The two young men started their apprenticeships in October and are training to become wholesale and export clerks, whilst also attending the Julius-Springer vocational school in Heidelberg in parallel.

Over the past few days, they have been taking their first cyber steps in the warehouse where they are being given the opportunity to get to know Cybergroup's broad portfolio of products at first hand – as well as helping out with order picking and packing... this means that they are getting a good grasp of these very important processes in the shipping of customer orders right from the start.  And to let you into a little secret – there isn't actually any space for the new employees anywhere else at the moment. The company's head office in Heidelberg is bursting at the seams and the team – of course together with their two new colleagues – is waiting anxiously for the new building in Mannheim to be completed. But fortunately things are coming along in leaps and bounds there which should mean that not only the two new trainees but in fact the whole team will be sitting at their new desks by the end of the year.

Johannes Wolf is 19 years old and has just this year gained his "Abitur" at the Hölderling Grammar School in Heidelberg. Not long afterwards, he was sitting down for an interview together with Kevin Olbert – the two young men will be starting their apprenticeships at the same time.  After having done an internship in Sales, Johannes is not only interested in an apprenticeship with a commercial focus, but also considers the advertising industry to be a particularly diverse field. Currently his working day is divided up into various activities helping out in the warehouse where, like his fellow apprentice, he is getting to know the procedures and the product range.  Alongside this, his first posting in the company is the bookkeeping area where he is getting some insights into the tasks they perform during the second half of the day. Like all his colleagues, he is very excited about the forthcoming move to Mannheim, but in particular because he will then finally be able to get actively involved in giving support to customers in one of the "islands" in the Sales team.

22 year-old Kevin Olbert is not only looking forward to the new setting in the larger, brand-new headquarters, but also to working with the rest of the cyber team.  In the first few days, he has already given some very enthusiastic feedback on the team spirit of his new colleagues and the positive working atmosphere in the company. He feels that he has been quickly and well integrated into the team, right from the beginning, and has been given the right support to allow him to independently get on with his tasks at an early stage.  In his private life, Kevin has a creative streak and enjoys drawing and painting, including graffiti. He has been able to get a taste of the tasks of a warehouse and export clerk in previous roles.   He is very proud that he is now able to fulfil this role for a company that is a market leader, he says. Cybergroup is very pleased to have such committed trainees, wishes them much success in the coming years and hopes as an employer to be able to do justice to their high expectations.
