cyber-Wear is an approved exporter

All customs declarations are implemented internally.

At cyber-Wear all customs declarations are implemented internally using the ATLAS IT process. ATLAS is a German customs software application used by the customs authorities and stands for "Automated tariff and local customs implementation system". It enables customs clearance and monitoring of cross-border goods movements to be carried out in a virtually automated manner. Thanks to ATLAS the registration and entry of goods – and accordingly the relevant processes and administrative activities – can be implemented electronically.

The customs declaration is implemented as follows: as soon as goods need to be shipped to non-EU countries, a customs declaration is required from an approved person, the so-called 'applicant', in accordance with Art: 158 Section 1 of the EU Customs Code. For this purpose the applicant has to be resident within the European Union. The customs declaration must be submitted to the customs office with which the goods are registered. The declaration has to contain all the data and circumstances which are relevant to the selected customs procedure and customs processing. In addition all the necessary documentation such as invoices and shipping documents has to be available and presented to the customs office if required. The applicant is responsible for ensuring that all the submitted documents are correct, genuine and complete.

All the data in the application is recorded centrally, so that it can be read or processed by the responsible departmentsof the customs authorities, e.g. thecustoms offices. At the same time ATLAS transmits the data electronically to other EU member countries.

For the above purposes cyber-Wear is a so-called "approved exporter". As an approved exporter cyber-Wear is entitled to implement the simplified customs declaration. This means, for example, that the declaration of origin on the invoice can be issued without a value limit. The advantage of this is that issuing preferential status documents (in the form of the declaration of origin) is not dependent on the office hours of the internal customs department. This means that the relevant travel and document costs are not incurred.
