Creative Addition to the Design Team

The design team is being merged at the Mannheim location and will receive additional support from graphic designer Christian Mente.

With the move to the new headquarters in Mannheim, the Cybergroup design department received a stunning, innovative new work environment – the Design Lab – to help foster the free flow of creativity. At the same time, the entire department was merged at the Mannheim location to make workflows more efficient and optimise communication within the team.

As part of this merger, a new member is joining the team: as of 2 September, Christian Mente is responsible for a wide range of graphic design work. He will be able to contribute his in-depth knowledge of photography and his wealth of experience, much of which he gained while previously employed at an advertising agency.

He spent the first few days on the job studying the often extensive CI guidelines of our many cyber customers. Our new colleague thoroughly browsed through the customers’ online shops managed by Cybergroup to familiarise himself with the vast array of different requirements. After that, he looked over the shoulders of his new colleagues in the graphics and design team to get to know their daily tasks and workflows. These mainly include developing layout sketches for printed products, product and collection images as well as editing and creating graphics for the broad customer portfolio. Following his initial onboarding, Christian Mente is already helping with the first customer orders to allow him to transition smoothly into day-to-day operations. The cyber team would like to extend a warm welcome and wish him all the best at his new job!
