Sensibly using the power of the senses

Olaf Hartmann began his career in international advertising at Bayer AG, lectured for 7 years at the Institute of Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen, and founded the Touchmore agency in 1995 and the Multisense Institute in 2009. Together with Sebastian Haupt, he wrote the book “Touch!”, which described the role of haptics in multi-sensory marketing. In 2018 he created the first meta-analysis on the advertising impact of print advertising and he is currently researching the topic of context-sensitive media planning. He is on the board of the Gesellschaft zur Erforschung des Markenwesens e.V. GEM and host of the podcast MARKENKRAFT. In short, Olaf is a marketing expert whose main focus is on multisensory marketing.
In June of this year, Olaf and Steven took to their MARKENKRAFT podcast to discuss the topic “How to make things happen - Entrepreneurship in the service of big brands”. The two will talk in the upcoming Talkinar about how findings from neuroscience, psychology and sensory research combine to make brands as well as products and communication successful. The topic of the talk is “Sensibly using the power of the senses”.
It promises to be an exciting event, so make a note of the date and watch live! We'll see you!
