Behind the Cybergroup Magazine

A perfect design, modern layout, informative articles, a great selection of products, your favourite items, yet who is actually behind all of this? Who is responsible for what, and how do they put together a whole magazine?

It is probably clear that an awful lot of work goes into producing the magazine, but who are the team that manage to do this in parallel to their regular jobs? Who are the creative types and who writes all the written texts?

The team is made up of three people: Inga, Melina and Steven. Since we welcomed our "dual" degree student on 1 April 2021, she has also been part of the team and has been giving us a lot of help since the third edition. So who does what? In an initial brainstorming session, we come together and let our creativity run free. We come to decisions on the main topics and possible sub-topics. Lots of our ideas and inspiration come from Steven. He literally sucks up everything he reads, sees and hears, sorts it out in his head and then, when the time is right, out it all comes.

Melina and Paula then carry out research into every single idea and create entertaining and informative articles. And they do everything themselves. There's no copying and pasting. This means that we can give the articles a personal touch and the content maintains a consistent style.

The products to suit each topic come from Steven and from all those involved – here everyone has a say and is allowed to put forward their ideas and suggestions. We also work very closely with our suppliers and always include their adverts and new products.

Now to the design work. Who could do this better than our Head of Design Inga? She outdoes herself every time by taking all the contributions and putting together an ultra-modern, attractive magazine that is simply super cool and stylish, and she does this within an amazingly short space of time. It's hard to resist having a look through, even if it's just on account of the layout.

And then there's Anika. She goes through the whole magazine with a fine-toothed comb and finds even the smallest of mistakes. We intentionally involve colleagues who come from different countries so that the magazine will have an interesting international flair and provide some new insights on the different continents.

Last but not least: Michael. Michael produces all the videos and moving images that are also a part of the magazine. This includes, for example, the podcast in audio and video form. His wealth of experience means that he always manages to create highly engaging and informative videos.

Overall, a huge amount of work is involved, but the result is always worth it and we can be really proud of what we achieve!
