Behind the BeachCup

"Play + Fun + Party = BeachCup", but what takes place behind the scenes? Among other things, the well-rehearsed BeachCup team manages the large quantities of drinks, food, give-aways and everything related to them.

It's been more than four weeks since we heard "June 22nd 2019, beach volleyball for the eighth time, hello Ketsch!"  In bright sunshine Radio Regenbogen presenter Christian Pudlo welcomed the teams, fans, friends and family to the eighth BeachCup.

A record 350 guests were present at the BeachCup 2019. This is also reflected in the number of drinks consumed. On the hot Saturday, the players in particular needed a lot of fluid to make up for what they lost. A total of 2500 water bottles of 0.33 litres each were drunk, which is about 825 litres of water. All fans, friends, family and colleagues and of course some of the players also consumed about 600 litres of beer, 120 litres of non-alcoholic beer, 240 litres of soft drinks and 30 litres of wine.

A big thank you goes to the BeachCup team, which every year pulls the strings, organises, plans and manages everything. They ensure that the event runs smoothly, that everything is clean and tidy and that all guests are provided with sufficient food and drink. During the tournaments the team and the players lost no less than about 1000 litres of sweat.

The food consisted of 45 kg of schnitzel, 750 sausages, 250 mozzarella sticks, 1100 rolls, 100 pretzels, 100 croissants, 32 cakes and 60 kg of fruit salad. There's no doubt that there was plenty for everyone. Of course cyber-Wear once more thought of everything and made good provisions for all the participants. 500 bottles of sun protection spray were available so that people could protect their skin from sunburn.

All this and many great team photos were captured on a total of 3,255 images. The 11 hours of video material provide even more wonderful memories.

After the BeachCup is before the next BeachCup. It was worth registering quickly, as all the places have already been filled and the waiting list is also full.
