C’MONS by Opel

For Adam Opel AG, one of Germany's best-known and biggest automobile manufacturers with a workforce of 34,500 in Europe, Cybergroup supported the global marketing campaign accompanying the launch of the fourth  edition of the Corsa. The "C'MONS", an imaginary rock band consisting of puppets in an outlandish design, first appeared in 2006 in order to add the 20 to 29-year-old age group to the brand's 30 to 49 year-old core demographic, and to transform the image of the Opel, Vauxhall and GM brands among the younger generation. Cybergroup designed, produced and stored all the products associated with this highly successful campaign, and distributed them worldwide.

C'MONS bathtub plugs | Advertising which doesn't leave you high and dry

Cybergroup decided to integrate the brand message of the Opel Corsa into every area of daily life – including the bathtub. The corporate bathtub plugs featuring all five members of the C'MONS were attached to a long chain, so that they appeared on the surface of the water even when the bath tub was full. These little figurines were highly popular and effectively demonstrated that promotional articles for the bathtub don't necessarily leave you high and dry.

C'MONS street style accessories | Cool corporate look

Even imaginary bands require fan wear, and Cybergroup provided it: a casual army cap as well as cool messenger bags in olive green and black were some of the accessories for stylish streetwear outfits that were part of the  C'MONS collection. Of course the striking prints and embroidery of these colourful figurines made them eye-catching rather than effective camouflage, but of course that was exactly the desired effect.

C'MONS mobile phone charms | Everyday companions

In the days before smartphones had replaceable covers, small charms represented the very first mobile phone decorations. They were highly popular, especially amongst young ladies. The C’MONS figurines of Cherri, Moo, White, Red and Blue each had their own charm, and consequently these little figurines dangled within sight of their proud owner all day long.
