32 CYBERGROUP BECAUSE WE ONLY HAVE THIS ONE PLANET We are aware that everything we do as a company has an impact on the environment and the climate. That is why we are committed to continually improving our products and processes to make them more sustainable. Our head office has been operating as CO2-neutral since it opened in 2019, we subsidise the use of job bikes and public transport and have been compensating for unavoidable transport emissions. With green roofs and rough meadows, we encourage new habitats for insects and endangered species and have been accredited with the quality standard DIN ISO 14001: 2015 since 2019. ISO-CERTIFIED ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH DIN ISO 14001: 2015 With the development of the new headquarters in Mannheim, Cybergroup has set a new standard for itself in terms of social and environmental responsibility and have taken this opportunity to anchor these standards in our corporate philosophy. We took the decision to further invest in our ISO accreditations. In 2022 we achieved certification to the international environmental management standard DIN ISO 14001: 2015. The DIN ISO 14001: 2015 places an emphasis on a continuous improvement process as a means of achieving targets related to the environmental performance of an organization. To achieve accreditation, a company must have an operational environmental policy, with clear social and environmental goals and an environmental management system that helps them to achieve the goals of their environmental program. In addition to achieving DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 for quality management standards, in 2019 Cybergroup successfully passed the audit for the DIN ISO 14001: 2015 environmental management standard and are committed to sustainable management. We have found that by having an operational environmental management program it helps us to re-enforce our core values, improve employee motivation and has demonstrated our clear commitment to the future for our clients and partners. We are continually aware of our global carbon footprint. We are conscious that every decision that we make, has an impact on the planet. The consequences of our actions can have long lasting effects on nature which is why we continually try to consider the ecology of our products with every step. From the initial concept through to delivery to recipient and beyond, we continually strive to make our products engaging and as sustainable as possible.
